Like the Dodo Juice Blue Roo but a little less plush – and only marginally less soft. Has a pocket to help your fingers grip it. Foam inner so products can be metered out. Suitable for all liquid products, including polishes, glazes, pre-waxes and liquid sealants.

Yellow poly-clay has been a staple product of detailers for many years, and for good reason… it is great value, has a good consistency and works remarkably well. Being a fine grade clay, there is also less chance of marring, although clay lube is still recommended during use. Two 55g bars of yellow poly-clay, the detailing classic… fine grade, so they suit most cars and come in a handy clamshell for storage. They also come with full claying instructions as they’re in the Basics range.

Basics of Bling is a brand new, entry-level range of car detailing products from triple Detailing World award winners, Dodo Juice. Aimed at consumers previously tempted by the mass market, the new Basics of Bling range bridges the gap between the mass market and Dodo Juice’s main detailing product line-up. It provides consumers with a streamlined product range (that helps lower costs) within a simple four-step programme (allowing better results than those promised by mass market ‘all in one’ products) and all without compromising quality or ‘selling out’.

“The mass market is a total mess,” explains Dom Colbeck from Dodo Juice. “There are a few half-decent products, but many are guilty of crimes against car care: low-performance chemicals relying on regular application for effectiveness; wonder products making ‘all in one’ promises that are almost impossible to keep; or over-packaged items that are made so cheaply that even Primark would be worried.”

“Our Basics range makes a stand against all that. It gives consumers what they should be buying. Not what they have been told to buy by the large car care companies… or conditioned to buy, because the product is in a large gallon container with 50% off.”

The Basics of Bling range launches with five new products.

Every Basics of Bling product has a simple description, more detailed instructions, and is colour-coded to one of four detailing stages, namely Wash, Prep, Protect and Maintain. The range will be extended in 2011, with more products for Stages 1 and 2 and new products for Stage 3 (Protection) and Stage 4 (Maintenance).
